Doctors from the Sahaydri Hospital in India will be in Fiji next week to screen patients suffering from Non Communicable Disease.
Health and Medical Services Ministry spokesperson Everlyn Mani says the screening is open to the public and those who have been referred by their district health facilities.
Doctors will be screening patients for cardiac illnesses, orthopaedic, neurological issues as well as cancer.
The team will visit the Nausori Health Centre, Labasa Hospital, Savusavu and end up at the CWM Hospital.
The team will return to India after the screening, but will be back a month later to conduct surgeries.
