India’s High Commissioner to Fiji, Vishvas Sapkal, met with the Multinational Observer Group Secretariat staff earlier this week to discuss logistical arrangements for India’s participation in the observer mission in this year’s general election.

Sapkal says India is pleased to be one of the MOG co-leads and is committed to working closely with all countries that contribute as observers to the MOG.

He adds that India plans to announce its Co-Chair soon.
