The independent committee to look into the comment made by a senior academic has completed its report.

The University of Fiji who appointed the committee confirms that the report will be discussed in its next council meeting.

Last month, Dr. Litiana Kuridrani had hit out at a Law Students Association president Filipe Bainivalu, comparing him to a “Barking Indian Dog”

It was unanimously resolved that the issue would be considered and investigated by an Independent Committee, which would then provide a report to the University.

Minister for Education Rosy Akbar had earlier stated they will wait for the outcome of the investigation before commenting further.
