Increased demands to buy shares on stock market

July 17, 2017 4:58 am

More people are showing interest to invest in the South Pacific Stock Exchange, however, few stocks are being offered for sale.

Exchange, Manager Operations, Pretesh Prasad, says this demand has presented the opportunity for major shareholders to sell their stocks to individuals.

“Current investors or the existing investors and the majority shareholders it really presents them an opportunity to sell part of their shares and actually make
or realize capital gains from their existing investments.”

Prasad says if this shortage is to be measured it will be described as one seller to two buyers of shares.
