The Fiji National Council of Disabled Persons will now accelerate its strategic action plan implementation following the seven hundred thousand dollars increase in its budget allocation for this year.

Council Executive Chair, Dr.Sitiveni Yanuyanutawa says the one of the major focus of the strategic plan is the construction of a new Western Disability Centre.

“We have operations here in Suva in the Council in Suva and also the one that is currently operating from the North in Labasa. Those are some of the critical areas where these funding will be directed to but our main capital project is the building of the new disability western disability centre in Lautoka.”
