I-Taukei Trust Fund Board make profit of over $6m

The I-Taukei Trust Fund Board has made a net profit of over six million dollars for the 2015 financial year.

Chief executive, Isoa Kaloumaira says the trust was able to achieve this due to hikes in share investments.

The Trust gross revenue was over nine million dollars whilst expenses were more than two million dollars.

Kailoumaira adds they are performing reasonably well since 2013 as it is reflected in their profits over the years.

The trust owns six properties valued at over thirty-five million dollars – which is earning over two point five million dollars annually.

This was revealed during the address of the 2015 Annual Report to the Parliamentary Standing Committee.
