Hundreds of Water Authority employees raised their concerns and issues when they were invited by head of WAF for discussion at Wailoku Depot this afternoon.
During the engagement employees raised their frustration and grievances to the head of WAF.
WAF’S Operations Manager, Sekove Uluinayau says workers need to understand the category of employment they applied for prior to joining the authority.
Uluinayau highlighted there are two categories of workers at WAF – the permanent workers who are offered 3 year contracts since 2010 and the temporary workers.
He says temporary workers are those who carry out WAF’s projects for a given duration.
Uluinayau is advising the hundreds of employees to understand their terms of employment in their contract.
