More than three hundred people took advantage of the free medical services provided by the Sathya Sai International Organization in Sabeto, Nadi yesterday.
Organization President, Dr Rajat Gyaneshwar says their partners from New Zealand provided various services to those that attended.
Dr Gyanshwar says the advantage of the outreach clinic is that they provide it for those who live in remote areas where it’s difficult to access health care.
“Even though health care is available in Fiji, here’s an opportunity for people to get a second opinion from overseas doctors."
He says they provide various services from gastroenterologist who are experts in bowel care, experienced general practitioners, eye specialists, psychiatrists, gynaecologist and dental health care.
The team will be in Levuka today.
