Hundreds of people in the district of Saqani, Vanua Levu gathered at the Village yesterday to witness the opening of the Government Roadshow.


Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama says the intention of the two day Saqani event is to bring services closer to the people.



It will also allow people to make use of services offered by the government and its development partners.

Bainimarama says the government has always been concerned with the challenges faced by some of the rural communities in accessing Government services and amount of time and money spent.

More than three hundred civil servants together with representatives from non-government organizations and corporate organizations are in Saqani to offer advisory services.
