Human bones found on Koro Island

Two villagers who were hunting for wild pigs stumbled upon human bones on the island of Koro in the Lomaiviti Group.

Police spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri says the bones were buried under a stone.

The men from Vatulele Village discovered the human remains on Wednesday.

Sokomuri says their officers are investigating.
