Housing remains a problem in Fiji says Real Estate Association president, Vyas Sharma.

Sharma says this issue is rife in all the divisions.

He says many low-income earners are struggling to put a roof over their heads due to exorbitant housing prices.

“Now if there is any initiative by the government I’d say it is a good initiative and we must all help the government to get this work started.”

Sharma says they will be on standby if government needs their assistance.
