A woman from Suva has been charged with one count of being found in possession of illicit drugs this afternoon.

Meena Shah, a housewife on the 11th of this month in Nabua without lawful authority allegedly had in her possession 1.2 grams of methamphetamine.

She appeared in the Suva Magistrates Court and was granted a bail bond of two thousand dollars.

The court ordered that she apply for Legal Aid Assistance with her plea to taken at the next court hearing scheduled for the 26th of February.
