Twenty four houses and a church at Nabasovi village in Koro has been badly damaged by Tropical Cyclone Winston.

Head of Nabasovi District School, Taura Vosayaco, told FBC News all the people in this village now being sheltered in one of the classroom in school and another house which was not damaged.

Vosayaco says the school dining hall were also destroyed and a shed for the school generator.

The weather is now clam at Nabasovi.
