The Visitor arrival for 2012 is expected to be high despite two devastating floods this year.
The hotel industry saw a slight drop in tourist arrivals during the floods however hotels and resorts are now at its peak.
Outrigger on the Lagoon’s General Manager, Peter Hopgood says the industry which suffered some loss due to the floods and some because of the adverse media reports is recovering well.
According to Hopgood, because of the standards of hotels and resorts in Fiji, the industry has revived in such a short time.
This month May for many hotels and resort have over 90% occupancy and more visitors are making bookings.
