The deadline for the use of the balances on Homes-CARE M-Paisa Cards have been extended until the end of August.

The Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation has reviewed the expiry date, which was initially set for today.

Assisted Fijian citizens who had received their Homes-CARE cards, but are yet to receive approved items from selected hardware and retail stores now have until the revised date of August 31, 2018 to utilize funds loaded onto their M-Paisa Cards.

The extension of the Homes-CARE programme is the result of requests received by concerned Fijian citizens who felt that they may lose out if they were unable to use the M-Paisa Card.

Ministry says the initiative has to be used within this extended timeframe.
