A heavy rain warning remains in force for southern Lau group and is now in force for the rest of Lau group, Lomaiviti group and whole of Viti Levu.

This as a trough of low pressure with cloud and rain remains slow moving over Fiji and it’s expected to linger over the group till early next week.

For the whole of Viti Levu, Lau and Lomaiviti group: periods of rain, heavy at times and squally thunderstorms.

A heavy rain alert remains in force for the rest of Fiji.

Showers possibly increasing to rain, becoming frequent and heavy with squally thunderstorms from afternoon.

Localized heavy rain, may lead to flash flooding of low lying and flood prone areas.
