The heavy rain currently affecting most parts of the country is expected to ease later tonight.

The Fiji Meteorological Office says cloudy conditions and brief showers are expected tomorrow and later in the week.

A strong wind warning remains in force for land areas of Southern Lau and the Lomaiviti group.

Meanwhile, a flood warning that was previously in force for low lying areas and small streams adjacent to Waimanu station and downstream of Waimanu River is now cancelled.
