A heavy rain warning remains in force for the Yasawa, Mamanuca and Lomaiviti Group.

According to Fiji Metrological Services a heavy rain warning is also in place for eastern half and interior of Viti Levu.

Northern Lau group, Vanua Levu, Taveuni and nearby smaller islands can also experience heavy rain.

A trough of low pressure associated with rain and clouds remains slow moving towards Fiji and will affect Fiji in a few hours.

Occasional rain, and heavy at times with thunderstorms can be experienced from tomorrow in the country.

Due to the heavy downpour, low lying areas can experience flash flooding.
People are advised to take precautions.
