Heart International aims to attract medical tourism

The new state-of-the-art hospital in Nadi – Heart International Limited aims to not only provide affordable treatment to Fijians but also attract people from the South Pacific Island countries.

Heart International will provide treatment related to coronary heart diseases.
Fiji born surgeon, Dr Parma Nand who is also the co-founder of the hospital, says the hospital a longtime dream come true.

“I am already in the process of speaking to some of the neighboring islands like Niue, Samoa, Kiribati who send their patients to India. So I think there is a lot of scope in trying to get these patients to come to Fiji.”

The hospital is a replica of the hospitals in Australia and New Zealand.
