Hearing date set for a former salesman

A 42-year-old salesman of a dairy company in Suva has been charged with ten counts of theft.

Sanjay Kumar’s case was called at the Suva Magistrates Court this morning where a hearing date has been set for October.

It’s alleged on April 19th, 2013, the man obtained three thousand and three hundred dollars from the cash he collected from the sale of Jubilee butter.

The accused allegedly sold butter to companies around Suva and Navua, however failed to give the money to his employer.

The matter was reported to the police after a thorough investigation.

The man will reappear in court on October 26th, this year.
