Former Media Liaison Officer at the Ministry of Works, Transport and Public Utilities, Sainiana Waqainabete’s hearing has been vacated again.

Defense had filed a notice of motion to have the hearing date which was scheduled from next Monday to be vacated.

The motion was filed as Waqainabete will be having exams the following week.

The matter has been adjourned to 17th November to set new hearing date.

Waqainabete is charged with 11 counts of obtaining a financial advantage by deception.

It is alleged she obtained financial advantage by falsely stating that the Minister for Work had requested a total of $5760 over 9 separate occasions between May 2010 and June 2011.
