The Ministry of Health has lifted the movement restriction placed on Natua Village in Wailevu, Cakaudrove due to a typhoid outbreak.

There were initially five cases of typhoid confirmed in the village since the outbreak early last month.

After the five cases were cleared, another new case was detected and the movement restriction was extended.

The Ministry yesterday confirmed the lone case has been cleared.
