Health Minister Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete yesterday donated the first pint of blood for the Ministry’s Blood Drive Campaign.

Staff members of the ministry also joined in to make donations.

The Ministry aims to collect about 50 packs with each pack consisting of 400 milliliters of blood from Fijians in each of the four divisions.

Dr Waqainabete is urging people to donate blood and save lives.
