Dilkusha Home children get free general check ups

The Sai Prema Foundation Fiji invited children and staff of Dilkusha Home to undergo a special medical clinic.

The clinic was held at the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre today in Nasese, Suva.

Centre Director and Foundation medical co-ordinator, Dr. Krupali Tappoo, says all their visitors underwent a full medical check-up with the clinic hailed a success.

Dr. Tappoo says this included a full general checkup as well as oral examinations.

“This is to do with some preventative health care and also see some kids who maybe sick but really the idea is more prevention so we’ve got our medical centre doctors here. We’ve also got a team of dentist here to do some checkups on the children.”

The Foundation runs the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Medical Centre in association with the Ministry of Health.

The Centre commenced its operations in Muanikau, Suva in conjunction with the Ministry of Health, for the purpose of providing quality health care for the underprivileged totally free of cost to the patients.

The centre has seen more than 3000 patients since its commencement and continues to see new patients every week.
