The role of the Fiji National University’s College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences in facilitating research and discussions has been commended by Health Minister.

Speaking at the Pacific Health Governance Research Network Workshop, Dr. Ifereimi Waqainabete says the College has made an immense contribution to the medical sector in Fiji and the region.

The Minister says through its various programs, the College is providing key tools to postgraduate students to master a particular research area.

He says the research needs to create clear linkages between climate change and health in the Pacific in order to mobilize local action and garner support from the international community.
