Ministry of Health, Head of Health Protection Dr. Aalisha Sahukhan reassured the Prime Minister that their teams are working hard to control the outbreak with the support from the ministry.

Health Minister Dr. Ifereimi Waqainabete and Sub-Divisional Medical Officer Serua/Namosi Dr. Anaseini Tabua were also part of the briefing.

The Ministry will provide a public update on the measles outbreak later today.
