135,000 doses of measles vaccines delivered so far

Along with the doses of vaccine, UNICEF has also delivered required diluent, syringes and safety boxes.

Since 1st October this year, the United Nations Children’s Fund has delivered a total of 135,000 doses of measles vaccine for Fiji.

Along with the doses of vaccine, UNICEF has also delivered required diluent, syringes and safety boxes.

The Fund says an additional 200,000 vaccines are en-route to Fiji.

Fiji declared a measles outbreak on the 7th of this month in the Serua/Namosi Subdivision.

As of yesterday, almost 300,000 vaccines and medical supplies have been delivered to reach those in high-risk areas in Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa.
