The Health Ministry is looking at hiring more staff in 2016.

Assistant Minister for Health Veena Bhatnagar says more medical personnel will be recruited next year to provide medical services in our hospitals and health centres.

“We are happy with the budget, the allocation given to the Ministry of Health and medical services and we will definitely try to give our best and work within the budget and of course improve and enhance our services delivery.”

The Ministry has been allocated $280m, an increase of $11m to boost its services in 2016.
