Heads of schools talk education reforms in Kadavu

More than four hundred heads of primary schools are currently attending the annual conference for the Fiji Head Teachers Association in Tavuki in Kadavu.

Education Minister Education Dr Mahendra Reddy addressed the conference and informed the heads of schools of some reforms and new curriculum which will be introduced by the Ministry.

Association Member Aporosa Bole says participants are fortunate to have some experts share their knowledge pertaining to education.

‘’Different guest speakers spoke on different topics like the education reforms,curriculum and school heads ,the external exams and topic on building resilience for safer schools against disasters, quality and our facilitators for the AQEP also spoke on how to improve access to quality education’’.

The theme for the two days conference ends today.

Head Teachers are expected to leave for Suva this afternoon.
