A group of eye specialists from the Hawaiian Eye Foundation is carrying out optical consultations and surgeries in Ba.

The group is in the country strengthening its partnership with Ba Vision, a clinic specialising in optical consultations.

Hawaiian Eye Foundation President Dr. John Corboy says they are always available to assist and help our fellow Fijians and if we are able to improve their vision.

Acting Prime Minister and Attorney General Hon. Aiyaz Sayed – Khaiyum visited the group at the Ba Vision Clinic yesterday to personally acknowledge their efforts in restoring eyesight for Fijians living along the Lautoka – Tavua corridor.

The team has already done over 100 eye surgeries since arriving into the country earlier this week.
