The new renovation at the capitals foreshore is just the beginning of better things to come.

“Next year we will continue work on this walkway and extend it all the way to Suva Point. We will have more bures, gardens, tables, seats, a new public convenience with showers, food kiosks, a podium for entertainments, and a mini market for fruits. We will also construct piers into the sea starting from the government house all the way up to the foreshore.”

The City Council is inviting stakeholders and business people to operate water sports such as skiing, canoeing and boat trips at Suva Point.
