A 30-year-old father of three is one of thirty six students from Corpus Christi Teachers College who graduated with a Diploma in teaching today.
Edward Pio says his children were a major contribution to his success today.
Living in Naililili Rewa, he leaves home at 5am daily to travel for almost two hours to attend classes.

“It’s a big challenge as I have to do responsibilities. For instance at home, i have to be there with my children and with study too and after today, I am very grateful for what i have achieved and I am very much ready to go to the field and teach the children of Fiji. Yes I have to also cater for my family.”
Pio says while being a father and a student is quite challenging, it is also enjoyable.
