Hard work finally pays off

Twenty seven students of Monfort Boys Town, outside Lami graduated today after completing their third year of studies.

Minister for Education Dr Mahendra Reddy congratulated the students for their hard work, which has now paid off.

Reddy reiterated the Ministry’s commitment towards improving the learning environment in all schools.

“Over the next three years the Ministry of Education is planning to invest along with support from our donor agencies .Government of Australia has made enormous contribution to the AGAP programme towards improving the learning environment for our Primary and Secondary schools as well as the USP. Government of Japan has also contributed towards improve the infrastructure to some schools.”

Joji Lagidamudamu form Bureta in Ovalau was awarded Dux of the School.

Graduates received their Certificates in Trades of Panel beating, Automotive and Fitting Machining, Carpentry and Cabinet Making.
