Haji Hafiz Musa Patel

The funeral for Pesh Imam for Lautoka Mosque, Haji Hafiz Musa Patel will be completed in Auckland New Zealand.

This has been confirmed by the South Auckland Muslim Association, a non- profit organization

The Association says they have been requested to oversee the funeral process for Hafiz Musa Patel.

Hafiz Sahib left Fiji three weeks ago with his wife, at the invitation of friends and well-wishers when he ended up as one of the victims of terror attack which has claimed 50 lives.

He was shot at the Christchurch mosque on Friday afternoon.

In response to the questions sent by FBC news, the South Auckland Muslim Association says they at the moment they do not have details in relation to when the funeral will take place.

He leaves behind his wife, three daughters and two sons.
