Graffitists send a message

March 18, 2012 4:02 am

It seems that graffitists were hard at work again last night targeting areas around the capital city with messages aimed at the Prime Minister.

FBC News counted six locations ranging from bus stops to bean carts and even walls, all bearing the messages, ‘no elections, we want peace’, ‘PM don’t allow it please’ and ‘no elections, we are ok’.

It was close to mid-day when FBC News re-visited the sights to find that police officers were painting over the graffiti.

Targeted spots were a bean cart at the corner of Carnavan Street, a wall at the junction of Loftus street, bus stops at Marist Brothers High School and Yat Sen Secondary and a wall next to the Sun Insurance building along Laucala bay road.

Police have confirmed that investigations are now underway to find the culprits.
