Graduates encouraged practice farming as a business

General Agriculture graduates at Nasau Training Centre in Nadroga were encouraged by the Ministry of Agriculture’s Deputy Secretary for Corporate Services and Planning, Maca Tulakepa to make full use of the abundant natural resources.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Tulakepa says it is interesting to see that this Training is offering programmes to unemployed Youths around the country with the objective of simply giving them a second chance at making it in life.

She also commended the staff of the centre for facilitating the training which focuses on organic agriculture and its benefits.

A total of 15 graduates received their certificates for a five months course which included ten from the Western Division, four from Central and one from the Northern Division.
