Grace Road founder Shin Okjoo has been arrested charged with slavery and foreign exchange violation.

According to a news report, Shin was arrested at Incheon International Airport in South Korea last week Wednesday.

Her arrest was reported in Korean media.

Grace Road is involved in several businesses in Fiji, including agriculture restaurants, hairdressing and land purchases.

The company has been accused of several incidents of enticing followers to Fiji in return of large cash investments in the Church.

Grace Road has a large farm in Navua and several businesses in Nadi, Suva and Savusavu.
