The Grace Road Food Company has expanded its business into the hardware sector.
President Daniel Kim says the hardware shop is called True Value, which is a franchise of the second largest hardware shop in America.
He says that it’s time they move to the hardware sector as it is demanding.
“The reason why Grace Road ventured into the hardware sector is very simple because we saw the market and demand and through our experience, we have farming and the restaurant and also construction. So it’s all related to people’s livelihood and we want to upgrade the people’s livelihood through our hardware store.”
Kim says they want to focus more on the interior of people’s home.
He adds that 50% of hardware are imported from America and the rest are from other countries.
The cost of constructing the hardware shop is around $3million and is based in Nakasi.
