Government is currently streamlining the Education Ministry to be more responsive.
This was the stated by Prime Minister, Voreqe Bainimarama while speaking at the Commonwealth Education Ministers Meeting in Nadi.
Bainimarama says this will further improve service delivery within the ministry and get quality results from our education sector.
He adds they are also working with teachers to increase their skills and financially reward the best performing teachers.
“But for all the challenges, I believe our education revolution is the biggest single thing we have done as a government and as a nation to benefit our people.”
Bainimarama says the current government have ended the heartbreak of low income families who could not afford to give their children a proper education.
