In a bid to ensure Fiji is portrayed as an attractive investment destination abroad, the Fijian government is reviewing its investment policy and law.
Trade Minister, Faiyaz Koya, says the review should help modernize Fiji’s investment laws and regulations so Fiji becomes on par with international standards.
Koya says in the new financial year, the ministry will launch another major project called the National Innovation Framework.
“It will act as a “roadmap” to facilitate growth in E-commerce, ICT, Business Process Outsourcing, Shared Services, Contact Centre, Software and App development, Animation and other Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) based sectors.”
Koya says the framework is a long-term strategy that will facilitate economic growth through innovation.
