Thousands of rural residents will continue to receive banking services after an Agreement was signed between the Economy Ministry and the Bank or the South Pacific to retain BSP agencies at Post Fiji outlets.

Permanent Secretary, Makereta Konrote, thanked BSP for partnering with the Government to continue providing banking services to rural and maritime communities.

BSP Country Manager, Kevin McCarthy, has welcomed the Government’s confidence and reaffirmed commitment to progressively remove barriers impeding the development of Fiji’s unbanked population.
