Post Fiji Limited today handed over a dividend of $1.24 million to government.

Board Chairman Lawrence Tikaram says the dividend payment is made possible through the hard work of it’s staff.

Tikaram says the dividend payment to government by Post Fiji Limited is in recognition of the company’s efforts to turn around its performance in the last three years.

Receiving the cheque today is Minister for Finance and Public Enterprise Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum. He says government understands that Post Fiji has gone through a lot financially.

Post Fiji Limited last presented it’s dividend to government back in 2012.
