The Ministry of Lands and Mineral Resources has revealed that there are 548 Native land leases owned by the state.
Minister for Lands and Mineral Resources Mereseini Vuniwaqa was responding to a question posed by Opposition MP Semesa Karavaki last night on how native land is being used by the government.
Vuniwaqa clarified that the land has been used by the state to host government structures such as hospitals, schools and other such services.
