Koro Island is one of the islands that were badly affected by Severe Tropical Cyclone Winston.

Goundar Shipping owner George Goundar says he wants to help with relief efforts.

Goundar says his ships are available for people who wish to return home to Koro Island.

“We are doing for free of charge for Koro people because as you know Koro took one of the biggest brunt of the Cyclone in the outer Island so you know I need to help my people. I’m from there so I need to show support for my people. If I don’t help them now then when will I help them?”

Goundar says people can send ration and any other form of aid free of charge.
