More than 350 girls from Ba who are members of the Ba Girl Guide Association have been urged to practice leadership to better serve their communities in the future.

Assistant Minister for Agriculture, Viam Pillay while speaking to them during their camp which was recently held at the Moto Sanatan School, challenged the girls to confront the realities of life with able leadership.

He says the government will continue to support and motivate young Fijians.

Pillay says the theme of the Sustainable Development Goal and a favorite quote of the Prime Minister is: in the new Fiji, we must make sure that “no-one is left behind”.
