Ghanians plead guilty

Three Ghanians have pleaded guilty to credit card fraud.

Marvin Opoku Agymang, Boakye Vincent Kwame, and Issac Veilison appeared in the Suva Magistrate’s Court today.

They are charged with illegal use of personal information from credit cards to retrieve money from Western Union.

The second accused told the court that despite several requests to the Corrections Officers to see a doctor, nothing has been done.

Kwame even showed swelling on his chest which he claims is a result of unhygienic conditions in the Suva Remand Centre.

He told the court that he can’t stand the environment.

The matter has been stood down till 2pm for an application to seek medical attention.
