General repair works for roads in Kadavu

Responding to question raised from the opposition on the cost of the projects in Kadavu, the Minister for Infrastructure says $375, 000 has been allocated to address the work for roads.

Pio Tikoduadua says this is in terms of general repair works for roads in Kadavu this year.

He also said the major renewal work in Kadavu will be the reconstruction of Vunisea jetty.

“The major renewal work in Kadavu alluded to was the Vunisia jetty that will be reconstructed at the cost of $2.9m in 2015.”

Tikoduadua says over $1.5m in 2015 and $1.4m in 2016 will be used for general repair of rural roads in the island of Kadavu.
