‘’So if that goes away madam Speaker they have nowhere to go. Madam speaker right next to their land is Maro about 4000 acres. They have been requesting the authorities to acquire that land, so I would like to ask the committee of parliament to help them secure this’’.

Gavoka says the land in question is in the Natadola Basin and it’s important for the matter to be resolved before Natadola’s full potential as a tourist destination is realised.
