Former Fiji National University Vice Chancellor Dr. Ganesh Chand appeared in the Suva High Court this morning.

He is charged with Abuse of Office by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption for allegedly approving payments for overseas medical treatment for the then Minister of Education, Filipe Bole.

The case has been adjourned to the 27th of August for a plea to be taken.

FICAC is also expected to file further disclosures.
