Fuel retailers in the country have been urged to assist government and non-government organizations with dissemination of information to the public.
Fiji Fuel Retailers association president, Mohammed Nasser Khan says it’s about time they formed a wide distribution network covering the main islands.
“It is perfect for disseminating printed material to the people about such crucial issues as guidelines for healthy living, fighting disease, protecting the environment and updates from the elections office on the election arrangements. With your permission I will write to the relevant government departments and agencies to invite them to use our resources to get their messages to the public. If they give us their brochures and handouts, our staff will do the rest.”
The Fiji Fuel Retailers Association members have invested in 71 service stations all over Fiji.
